ooo shoot. I fail at checking this thing hah so majorly late...but yeah i'll probably take the placement test thing for languages but likely take the intermediate french, and probably wont take another language, just focus on french. for extra currics I might check out the theater department and maybe do some technical stuff because I've done theater forever, and I figure there will probably be a club fair or something where I can check other stuff out. I hope youre having a good summer so far! and wooh 54 days =)

When I was doing the whole college tour thing with my parents, Richmond was the first place we visited and from the time I stepped on the campus, I just had this feeling like I could see myself here and that it was a good fit. After I had visited all the schools I applied too, I still had that feeling. I mean the campus is beautiful, I am looking forward to much better weather than NY, and their undergrad business school is top 20 in the country, what else could you want? Last October, I flew down to do an overnight with someone who went to my high school that goes to Richmond and had a really good time so from that point I knew I wanted to go to Richmond. What convinced you, other than size, that you wanted to go to Richmond?

I have never been to Hershey but Harriburg sounds similar to Rochester. For fun we usually go to house parties, friends lake houses, or downtown for festivals, for example this weekend we have a jazz festival which draws a lot of people and some pretty well known artists. Pretty standard fare i guess you could say. I am looking forward to being away from home though, and away from everyone because although I enjoy being around all my friends and stuff, I feel like it is time for a change. what are you most excited about?

i am hoping to place out of the English gen ed. and the other wellness and library requirements are only a few days at the beginning of the semester so that won't be a big deal. i was thinking of doing econ 101, the leadership 101 because i am in the Spinning Your Web program, CORE, and maybe another business pre-req. Rochester is pretty good, a lot nicer in the summer! I am about 6 hours from the city,in a town called Brighton, which is a suburb of Rochester. I think I am going to have to get used to explaining that there is a lot more to New York State than just the city when I start meeting people at Richmond! what about Harrisburg, what is that like? what do you do for fun their?
